Yes it does have a few drawbacks, but they can, for the most part, be forgiven, for creating a mousepad that is inexpensive and that makes a great upgrade from the generic ones out there today.ĭragonSteelMods gives the Ideazon Fragmat Gaming Mousepad 3.5 out of 5 score. If you are comparing the Fragmat to the generic types out there today, then the Fragmat is the clear winner, but if you want to compare it to the more higher end pads, well then the Fragmat just can’t compete… The Ideazon Fragmat has a very low selling point, and is an excellent choice for an upgrade to those generic ones that come with systems or are given as freebies.Īll in all the Ideazon Fragmat is not that bad of a pad, especially if you consider the price. When you are using a mouse with a higher resolution, you don’t need to really move the mouse far, you can just slide it around a bit without actually picking you hand off the mousepad, this is where I usually became stuck to the Fragmat, and even longer periods of time I noticed my hand was a bit sweaty, and there were times I actually stuck to the pad and picked it up entirely. I did try it out for two weeks, thinking maybe I would get accustomed to the surface of the pad, but personally I just did not like it at all.Īnother thing I noted was that the surface tended to stick to my hand, if I was doing something that didn’t require large sweeping movements my palm sort of stuck to the pad, kind of annoying really. Other people out there might not mind the higher friction of the Fragmat, but I just don’t really like it at all. The Fragmat seemed to offer a bit to much resistance or friction than what I like for a mousing surface. The size of the Fragmat ‘feels’ small to me for some reason, I can’t quite explain it really, but I seemed to always be falling off the edge of the pad even when I wasn’t gaming.Īnd as for gaming, there was just something about the Fragmat I didn’t really like, I can’t put it into words, maybe it was the scratching noise, or maybe it was the fact that the Fragmat just didn’t really seem all that smooth to me compared to others I own and have reviewed. I did notice that the Fragmat made all my mouse movements louder, an annoying scratching sound was heard every time I moved any of my mice across the pad. I found that all of the mice tracked very well on the Fragmat, with no real problems to be had. Well that’s that, it’s a mousepad, not much to really look at in detail….įor testing I used the Ideazon Fragmat with several mice, include the Ideazon Reaper (review HERE), A4tech x-750F (review HERE), Logitech G5 (review HERE), and the Raptor-Gaming M3 (review HERE). The Fragmat is also very thin, and should not get in the way of anyones game.

The back of the Fragmat features a non-slip rubber backing that keeps the pad in place wherever you put it. The background is the Ideazon ‘Z’ logo, with the actual colored logo under it and the Zboard web address printed across the bottom of the mousepad. The Fragmat I received for review is the Ideazon branded version but there are others like the BF2142 version and other games as well. The Fragmat itself can be easily seen in all its glory. The Ideazon Fragmat comes in a hard clear plastic sort of envelope, nothing special no flashy designs or listing of the specs and features anywhere to be found. Premium gaming surface – engineered to optimize performance for both laser and optical mice With a price of $14.99, the FragMat provides you with expert gaming performance at a great price – something gamers have come to expect from all Ideazon products! The FragMat is made of high quality materials and was designed for use with both laser and optical gaming mice. What better way to obliterate the enemy than with the brand new gaming surface brought to you by the makers of Zboard. It slices, it dices, and it makes julienne fries Undoubtedly, the FragMat is the perfect surface for your mouse. All of this technology and its 7/100 of an inch thick. The underside is made of a specialized rubber compound that ensures it stays in place when you are fragging the hell out of those who need one. The top surface is made of a reduced friction polymer to ensure fast and smooth movement. Pardon? The FragMat is sleek, smooth and bigger than your typical mouse pad. It’s oversized (11.81 x 9.44 inches) allowing for wider strokes. The Fragmat has a polymer surface on it that allows it to be used with all types of mice, and this surfaces helps reduce friction allowing your mouse to just glide across it. Today on the review block I have another product from Ideazon, the Fragmat Gaming Mousepad.
